Akshay Kumar begins Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat’s shoot, feels honored to play Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
Akshay Kumar shared a photograph on his Instagram handle to mark the start of his film’s shoot. In his caption, the actor mentioned he feels honored to play the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
आज मराठी फ़िल्म ‘वेडात मराठे वीर दौड़ले सात’ की शूटिंग शुरू कर रहा हूँ जिसमें छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज जी की भूमिका कर पाना मेरे लिये सौभाग्य है।मैं उनके जीवन से प्रेरणा लेकर और माँ जिजाऊ के आशीर्वाद से मेरा पूरा प्रयास करुंगा !

The caption to his post scan, “Starting the shoot of Sanskritic language film Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat nowadays, during which I actually have had the great fortune of taking part in the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jemaah Islamiyah. i will be able to attempt my best to require inspiration from his life and with the blessings of Maa Jijau! Keep blessing (sic).”
Earlier, at the Muhurat ceremony of Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat, Akshay spoke regarding taking part in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. “It’s a dream return true role on behalf of me. i feel to portray Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on the massive screen may be a terribly large responsibility. i used to be bowled over once rule sir asked Pine Tree State to portray this role. I feel thus smart to be half in} this part and it’s about to be a dream return true role on behalf of me. Also, i will be able to be operating for the primary time with Director Mahesh Manjrekar, associate degreed it’s about to be an expertise,” he said.
The film is being directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.
