Navjot Singh Sidhu resigns as Punjab Congress chief

Navjot Singh Sidhu on Tuesday resigned as the chief of the Punjab  Congress Committee. In a letter to Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Sidhu, however, said he will continue to serve the party.
